• The old passive 'cargo near a wormhole earns x2' bonus is removed — it was uncontestable. Now you fight for the wormhole directly, with ships.

• The Orbital Barrage now costs 18M (was 25M), so it's reachable again as the endgame denial weapon.
• Wormholes now stay open 3 minutes (was 90s) — long enough to send warships and pirate the enemy's DOUBLED cargos passing through. That's how you fight over a wormhole: raid its trade lane.

Comets — a prize to race for

• The MIRV stays the endgame trump card; it's the spammy single-nuke that's reined in.

Your territory finally pays

• Spatioport trade income is reduced: still the strongest burst economy, but no longer the only path worth taking.
• Train (rail) income is tripled, so a continental, spatioport-free empire finally has an economic engine.
• Desert worlds now boost this territorial income too.

Battles that stay contestable

• The size discount that let a huge empire attack more cheaply and faster is gone — bigger no longer means safer.
• A much smaller defender now resists a giant attacker harder (David vs Goliath), so a leader can't cheaply mop up small survivors.
• A player already dominating the map conquers a little slower and earns less gold from eliminations — the endgame stays open.

Clearer battles, a living ladder

• Before you attack, see the odds: “You 87K ⚔️ Them 684K”. No more blind clicks.
• A red alarm now warns you the moment your worlds are left undefended.
• During an attack, your bar shows troops committed instead of a scary “0”.
• On mobile, the attack-ratio slider is bigger and warns you before you send everything.
• Wormholes are announced 30s before they open, with a ping on the map.
• Ranked 1v1 now uses a real rating (your opponent's level matters), the queue shows how many players are searching, and after 60s you can jump into a public game.
• Ranked wins pay double, and season Crests are shown everywhere — finish Gold, earn the Gold Crest.
• Play as a guest? Your Credits are now saved — create an account to claim them.

The Living Worlds update
